Just wanted to send a heartfelt thank you to you on behalf of my family for your work at my dad’s service. To be honest, I was really having trouble envisioning your role but now I could not imagine how we could have gone ahead without a celebrant – and particularly without you personally. You did an amazing job and so many people commented to me about how wonderful they thought you were. Although the fractures in my family were clear for a number of people to see and several of us were really curious how everything was going to unfold, the words you said and your calm, caring and peaceful voice really pulled everything together for us all in such a nice way.
Now being aware of what a Celebrant is, I was thinking how interesting your role must be. You come into the life of a family as a stranger and by the end of the day could be considered part of the family sharing in a very intimate and personal family celebration. At least that’s how I felt with you there – it felt like you were meant to be there and you were so warm and passionate – Dad would have loved to meet you. I’m sure he had a little smile on his face throughout the service.
Thank you for being there for us on our special day – and thank you in general for doing what you do – what an honourable role you play.
Have a great day.
At such a critical time in our lives, your calmness gave us the feeling of being wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket. Our Mom would have enjoyed the warmth and humor that you presented in the service.
On behalf of The Curtis Family, thank you.
We had folks commenting on the way you relayed the stories of Pete’s life. Your talent as a storyteller is appreciated.
Good morning Maggie,
I want to first thank you for leading our memorial service for my husband, Jim. I received so many lovely comments about your words and the feeling of comfort that you gave to us all. It was the most difficult day of my life, but for a moment I did feel a sense of peace - so thank you.
Secondly, the girls reminded me that there was a notice posted in the office near the chapel about a bereavement counselling group. Is this true? If so, I would be interested in obtaining some information about meeting times and places. If not, I would appreciate it if you could give me any suggestions.
Again, thank you.
You have been a ray of light in these past dark days. Maggie, your input for dad’s service was gratefully appreciated, it was so beautiful that it made me cry.
On behalf of my mom, sister and brother, thank you.
On behalf of our family I would like to thank you for the beautiful service you gave for Mom. It was comforting to have someone truly understand what we are feeling during this time of change in our lives with Mom's transition to the other side. Myself, Michael, Laura and Julie will miss her but will always know in our hearts she will always be close by.
Heartfelt thanks. The Morrisons
I just wanted to extend a thank you from our family for Uncle Vern's service today. You did a lovely job . We were all very pleased. I'm sure Uncle Vern would have approved as well.
Thank you so much for the beautiful service you provided Wed. Mom would have been pleased with every word that you wrote.
We would like to thank you for the eulogy that you gave in memory of our mother & grandmother. It was as though you were a long time friend of the family.
Just wanted to personally thank you for the beautiful ceremony you did for Mom. You captured her perfectly and we received so many compliments on the service from Family and Friends. It was a pleasure meeting you.
On behalf of my family I want to thank you for the beautiful service that you did for my mother. You provided a flow and gave a foundation for the family tributes in such a natural, loving way that all of our guests remarked on what a lovely service it had been. You were the calming voice in the planning and were able to anticipate our needs before and during the memorial. Without your assistance and guidance we would not have had such a fitting tribute to my mother and for that we are deeply grateful. Linda Collins
At such a critical time in our lives, your calmness gave us the feeling of being wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket. Our Mom would have enjoyed the warmth and humor that you presented in the service. On behalf of The Curtis Family, thank you.
Your services were exceptional. However, I want you to know that I paid attention to the little details such as the purple roses & the rose petals at the graveside. It was those special gestures that made the personal connection between you, mom and the family friends. Maggie, you are a kind and gentle soul and a true blessing in a sad period. Thank you for caring and supporting us during this difficult time. With respect & appreciation, warm regards Sheri Little
Both my sisters-in-law phoned me to ensure I made it home all right. What I really want to share with you, Maggie, is that they both were so very pleased with the service for Peter and they thought everything was done just so beautifully. And I wanted to let you know this because your officiating played such a role in making Peter's send-off, his graduation, such a success.
Thank you so very much for your words and for accommodating our requests, I truly appreciate it.
Hope you had a safe drive home. Anne Kinarz
I would just like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for that lovely service. I can't tell you how comforting it was after a very grueling week of preparations. This included a scheduled emptying of her home as we could not back out of the arrangements at the time of her passing.
Tom and I are very grateful for your outpouring of compassion. We truly felt Belle's presence.
All the best to you Maggie,
Yours sincerely, Anna & Tom Middleton
